Duplex Pumps With Pistons

The duplex pumps are double-acting pumps with "V" toothed cylindrical gear, built especially for operating conditions of cementing units.
The pumps are designed to run on reduced revolutions (17-110 double stroke/min) providing proper filling of pump cylinders and more than 0,9 volumetric efficiency on natural suction without supercharging.

Constructive characteristics:
The hydraulic part of pump may be equipped, as desired, with the following range of pistons: Ø100 mm, Ø115 mm and Ø127 mm.
In hydraulic part of pump mechanical energy is converted to hydraulic energy at the required operating pressure.
The hydraulic body is independent for each cylinder and is fixed to the pump frame. The discharge chambers at the two hydraulic bodies are united by discharge collector. The suction chambers of the hydraulic bodies are united by a common collector, sealed against each chamber.
The power end converts the ratating movement from the transmission into translation movement required by the pistons.
The power end is equipped with a "V" gear with a gear ratio of 4,058.
The crankshaft is supported on two self-aligning radial bearings and is provided internally with holes for crankpin lubrication.
The "V" toothed gear has the crowns fixed on crankshaft. Axial force developed in each crown pushes the crown towards the crankshaft shoulder and does not create additional stresses on the fixing screws.
The Connecting rods have both ends on bearings, and bushing from cast bronze for crosshead bolt.
The Transmission Mechanism lubricating system provides lubrication under pressure of the connecting rod bearings, crankshaft bearings and crosshead casings.
Oil under pressure is supplied by a gear pump which is flanged on the piston pump frame and is driven by its transmission shaft.
The other moving parts of the transmission mechanism such as gears, transmission shaft bearings are splash lubricated.
The duplex pistons pumps are driven by chassis truck engine, by mechanical transmission. This transmission is provided with a CV 5-200 gearbox, two cardan shafts united by an intermediate reducer and a toothed clutch.
