AC 400 Cementing Unit

Destination:

The cementing units are mobile units designed to perform cementing operations as well as other operations at the wells.
The cementing units are mounted on Mercedes, Tatra, Kraz, Roman, Volvo, MAN chassis trucks.
The units are equipped with triplex pumps with high pressure plunging that ensure the normal technical parameters for natural suction. They are designed as a unit, ensuring the optimal ratio between power and discharge flow, with facilities in terms of interchangeability.
The power required to drive the triplex plunger pump is supplied by the CATERPILLAR – C15 ACERT Diesel engine unit equipped with all air suction, control, cooling, discharging, and lubrication systems.
The drive of the plunger pump is carried out by means of the CATERPILLAR CX31-P600 transmission.
The gearbox is driven by a motor with cardan shaft driving the plunger pump by toothed coupling and the water pump by elastic coupling.

The units are equipped with a steel measuring tank with two independent, equal compartments, protected against corrosion.
For cementing operations, the aggregates are provided with a three-nozzle cement mixer, supplied with water by the water pump. The mixer can work with one, two or all three nozzles, providing 100 tons / hour mixture.
The controls of the unit are centralized and can be performed from the platform located around the control desk. At the control desk are mounted both the devices for monitoring the operation of the plunger pump and the water pump, as well as those necessary for monitoring the operation of the drive motor. The manifolds of the unit ensure:

• suction of the plunger pump from each compartment of the measuring tank, from the cement milk bath or from an external source, on both sides of the unit;
• discharge of the pump with plunging towards the mouth of the probe, on the stem in the measuring tank or outside. The discharge on the bore is made by an adjustable nozzle, manually controlled, which allows a slow and controlled flow of pressure;
• supplying each compartment of the measuring tank from the external source, as well as the independent emptying of each compartment;
• the suction of the water pump from each compartment to the measuring and discharge tank to the mixer through a water distribution system to the mixer nozzles and to recirculate the additional flow in the suction. To protect the entire hydraulic system against overpressure, the discharge manifold is provided with safety and water pump manifold is provided with spring valve.

For protection against overpressure, the discharge manifold is equipped with a safety valve with shear nails, and the manifold of the water pump is certainly spring-loaded.

For night operation, the units are equipped with three 24V luminaires, and can be directed to places that require close monitoring.
