4 in Valves belong to the Fluid end of triplex (duplex) pumps and actuate as suction valves as well as discharge valves.

Constructive characteristics:

These valves are seat guide type, with low resistance on the fluid flow.
The valve gasket is symetric with two work faces which may be reversed and used further after the first work face has been worn.
The valve seat is mounted in the hydraulic body by pressing on the cone and seales against the hydraulic body metal-to-metal.
The seat and the valve disk are hardened and have high resistance against wear.
The valve spring is parabolic shaped and provides proper stability of the valve during operation.
